Oppo F5 Youth Launched :Full Specifications, Pricing & Availability

Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has announced a new mid-range device Oppo F5 Youth. The smartphone is the lighter version of the Oppo F5 and comes with similar looks but lower specifications.

The device was launched at the more affordable segment, the Oppo F5 Youth has gone on sale in the Philippines for Php 13,990.The company has announced that the device will be launched here in India in December.

Oppo F5 Youth Specifications

Oppo F5 Youth comes with a 6-inch IPS-LCD panel with Full HD+ (2160x1080p) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio.

In terms of cameras, you get a 13MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture and an LED flash. Being a selfie-centric smartphone, the Oppo F5 Youth gets a 16 MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. The device features an AI backed camera so your selfies are enhanced via facial recognition.

Coming to the hardware department, this is where the Oppo F5 Youth is downgraded from the Oppo F5. The device comes with a MediaTek MT6763T Helio P 23 octa-coreprocessor coupled with Mali-G71 MP2 GPU. The Oppo F5 youth is backed by 3GB RAMand 32GB internal storage with up to 256GB expandable memory via microSD card.

Oppo F5 Youth runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Oppo’s in-house ColorOS 3.2. The ColorOS brings an optimized skin to the phone for better performance. The device was powered by a 3,200mAh battery, the Oppo F5 Youth shall last a full day of usage. It is a dual SIM 4G VoLTE smartphone.

Pricing and Availability

The Oppo F5 youth is available for sale in the Philippines at Php 13,990 which translates to Rs. 17,800. However, we expect this phone to be priced between Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 18,000 in India when it is launched here in December.
